RVFC ACADEMY

Our Academy Program is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the game of soccer. The Program focuses on Skills, Knowledge and Conditioning all while providing a positive atmosphere. 

Individual skills, Teamwork and Leadership are all taught during this program. 

Players will be encouraged to show their creative side with the knowledge they have obtained from their training.     

Players of all different skill levels are welcome as all teams will be developed under US YOUTH SOCCER age appropriate curriculum guidelines. 

At this age it’s not about wins and losses, it’s about player development. The goal of our Academy Program is to create an engaging environment that includes educational activities and game-like Training from our Coaches.

Training is 2 times a week - Tuesdays and Thursdays 6.00pm -7.40pm.

Players will go through various activities including speed and agility, dribbling, moves, passing and shooting, 1v1, 2v2, and 2v1.

The small sided game concept allows players to maximize their touches on the ball along with physical development.

Spring Season runs from February to mid-May.

Fall season runs from August to mid-November.

Games are on Saturdays, there is some Travel (our Academy plays in the NWA Academy League). 

Tournaments will be decided by the Coach and Director and discussed with the Team.

The Arkansas Competitive Soccer League is the most competitive league in the state for our classic level teams for 11U-19U Boys & Girls teams. This league is the only pathway for the US Youth Soccer South Region Championships & Presidents Cup. Team Rosters: Teams must maintain a continuity of 9 players from their Original State Roster with the same rostering rules pertaining to the State Championships (per National Championships Series Rules).

Competitive soccer is for focused, motivated players, at any skill level, who want to advance their skills through the developmental benefits of a professional coach, a high volume of soccer through training and competing with and against other focused, motivated, and developed players.

If you're an aspiring college soccer player, you may have heard of showcases - events where players can showcase their skills in front of college coaches. Showcases are a popular way for student-athletes to get noticed by college coaches and increase their chances of being recruited.
